Shipping and Delivery Policy
At Carly Thella Interior, we offer nationwide delivery. Shipping and delivery times vary based on the product ordered and your location.
Products & Shipping
CarlyThella delivers using The Courier Guy, Fastway and Postnet for South African Shipping. Goods will be delivered on business days only. We do not offer deliveries on weekends or public holidays.
It typically takes us up to 7 (business day) to process and prepare your order for shipping after you place your order. If no shipping time is stipulated, a standard 10-working-day time applies, although custom products can take up to 6 to 8 weeks. Please note that actual shipping times may vary slightly and are estimations only.

A signature will be required when your order is delivered; we recommend you provide a delivery address where someone will be available to receive your order and sign for it.
Shipping Policy
- Delivery outside a 10km radius may incur extra fees.
- Major City Centres include: Cape Town, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, and Pietermaritzburg.
- Carly Thella Interior is an online retailer delivering nationwide. We do not allow order collections from our stores (Discontinued). Our service is door-to-door, meaning the shipment is delivered to the address, not a specific person. If the recipient is unavailable, it can be left with anyone at the address (e.g., security, staff, reception).
- We cannot ship to P.O. boxes.
- It is mandatory to provide a telephone or mobile number for contact during delivery hours.
- All goods in transit are insured.
- You can track your orders with the tracking number provided in your order dispatch confirmation email.
- Shipping categories are offered at checkout based on your delivery area code. Promotional shipping rates, such as free delivery for certain products, may be offered periodically.
- We reserve the right to amend shipping costs at any time.
Delivery
When Will My Order Be Delivered?
As soon as you purchase any Carly Thella Interior product, the delivery process begins! All deliveries occur on weekdays during normal business hours (excluding public holidays).
- Special orders take 4 to 8 weeks, and we will communicate the actual delivery date.
- Whilst we try to avoid any delays, should this ever happen, we will inform you in a timely manner.
Delivery Timeframes:
- 5-7 working days for non-furniture orders (e.g., smalls, rugs, and décor)
- 7+ working days for furniture orders
- 7+ working days for a combination of furniture and non-furniture orders
Deliveries are done by contracted third-party transporters with a national delivery network. Delivery times are based on estimates provided by our courier companies. In cases of multiple products within one order, items may come from different locations, leading to longer delivery times. Your goods will be held in our warehouse until all items within your order have arrived and been boxed together for dispatch.
To expedite delivery, we may split orders and send immediately available items, with the balance to follow. We will communicate this to you in advance.
If a package is not delivered due to no fault of ours (e.g., no one at the premises, unable to answer calls, invalid or incomplete address), we will attempt a second delivery. If still unsuccessful, we will contact you via phone and email to arrange delivery. If we are unable to reach you, the order will be returned to our warehouse and checked back into stock. You will be refunded for the products excluding the original delivery fee, if any.
Custom orders take 6-8 weeks to manufacture, with delivery taking up to a further 7 working days.
Delivery Questionnaire:
Please complete the following details once payment has been made (we will provide you with the necessary documents):
- Reflect unit number if complex or flats, as well as street name and number.
- Provide detailed directions if the area is new and not in map books (e.g., off which roads).
- Indicate if this is a house, flat, simplex, duplex, or office.
- Are there stairs? YES / NO. How many? Are there sliding doors that can be used?
- Will the purchased items fit through doorways, passageways, stairs, or lifts? YES / NO. If there is a lift, what is the size? Will the suite fit into the lift? YES / NO. Customers need to arrange the operation of the lift in advance.

In line with South African government guidelines, we adhere to strict safety protocols. We advise customers to sanitize their deliveries personally to ensure maximum safety.
